Hello and welcome to our little corner of family fun in Raleigh, North Carolina! I’m Amy, a proud Raleigh mom with an adventurous toddler by my side. My husband and I love the Triangle region and think it’s an amazing place to raise a family—and to have fun!

I’ve created Raleigh Family Adventure as a place to share our local experiences with fellow parents. I can’t wait to share all the fantastic finds and hidden gems that make Raleigh a perfect place for family adventures.

The Triangle area is one of the fastest growing areas in the country! And because of that, it’s gotten huge! As a team of one, I can’t yet cover the entire region, so I’ll be focusing mostly on Western Wake County.

On this site, you’ll find my favorite family-friendly things to do in Raleigh, Morrisville, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Apex.

These are the towns I know best, and there’s plenty to do nearby for kids of all ages. I also cover spots further out, such as Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, Clayton, Garner, and Knightdale when I can.

Raleigh is not just where we live; it’s a playground full of adventures waiting to be had. And as a local parent, I have that insider’s scoop on the best and most kid-friendly spots in the Triangle – from the coolest playgrounds to the cutest family-friendly events.
