Hello and welcome to our little corner of family fun in Raleigh, North Carolina! I’m Amy, a proud Raleigh mom with two adventurous little ones by my side. My husband Nathan and I have lived in the Triangle region since 2020.  We think it’s an amazing place to raise a family—and to have fun!

We’ve created Raleigh Family Adventure as a place to share our local experiences with fellow parents. We can’t wait to share all the fantastic finds and hidden gems that make Raleigh a perfect place for family adventures.

The Triangle area is one of the fastest growing areas in the country! And because of that, it’s gotten huge! As a team of two, we do our best to cover the entire region, but we focus mostly on Western Wake County.

On this site, you’ll find our favorite family-friendly things to do in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, and across the Triangle. 

We built Raleigh Family Adventure as a way to connect parents with all things kid-friendly around the Triangle. It can be surprisingly hard to find accurate information for kids activities, events, and general kid-friendliness of locations. We want to make all that so much easier for local Moms and Dads, whether you’re new to the Triangle or have lived here for years.
