The Star Families planetarium series is designed for children (ages 7-12) accompanied by their families. This special program is also good for Scout troops, 4-H clubs and other groups that involve children and caregivers learning together.
About the Show:
Winter nights offer us many bright stars and striking star patterns. Discover how to use the constellation Orion to “star hop” your way around the sky and become a winter-sky expert.

Arrive prior to your show or stay after your show is over to explore our exhibits featuring research here at UNC Chapel Hill, see live science experiments in our Science Stage, visit our gift shop, or participate in hands-on activities in our Launch Lab!
