Calling all Homeschool friends! The Poe Center is hosting a day of programming exclusively for you.
“Homeschool Day” features the Poe Center’s popular “Exploring the Garden Seasons” program. Children will get hands-on in the outdoor teaching garden while learning how to grow seasonal fruits and vegetables in North Carolina. Then, they will get to explore the wonders of the brain in the 4-D Cranium Connection exhibit, before playtime on PlayWELL Park. 
WHO: Kindergarten – 5th grade homeschool students
WHAT: Garden-education program and playtime at PlayWELL Park exclusively for homeschool students.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
COST: $12.50 per child
