Storytime at Oak View: Gomer the Gassy Goat

March 28 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Eww! What’s that smell? Join us on Wednesday, March 25 at 11 a.m. for a storytime at Historic Oak View! We’ll read Gomer the Gassy Goat: A Fart-Filled Tale. Kids and adults alike will love this hysterical, tongue-twisting read-aloud about a goat who farts A LOT! Whether he is making silly faces or farting during goat yoga, Gomer the Gassy Goat will have you laughing out loud before you can say, “Trendy-bendy, nosy, noisy, smiley, smelly, classy, silly, sassy, gassy goat!” Free and open to all ages, but recommended for ages 3–10. An aromatic craft is included. Registration is required for all participants and children must have a supervising adult(s).
The program will take place indoors in a climate-controlled building, followed by a visit with Oak View’s goats at their outdoor pen. Feel free to bring baby carrots or apple slices to feed the park’s resident goats after the program.
Activity location: Meet at the Farm History Center at Historic Oak View County Park
