STEM Camp at The Resource Room Learning Center offers school age children a variety of STEM aligned activities, both FUN and educational. Open to Grades K-8: Perfect for Track-Out, Homeschooling, and Summer Vacation!

Embark on a thrilling educational adventure with Resource Room’s STEM Camps! We combine the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with the creative fun of LEGO. Our camps are a playground for young innovators to delve into exciting experiments and engaging activities like making fluffy slime, erupting volcanoes, crafting elephant toothpaste, and playing with ooblek. Gear up for hands-on discovery, artistic endeavors, coding challenges, and a summer brimming with enjoyment!

Camp Details:

Schedule: STEM Camps run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday on selected weeks, YEAR ROUND.

Hands-on Science Experiments:
Prepare for awe-inspiring science adventures! Campers will delve into activities like making fluffy slime, simulating volcanic eruptions, experiencing the exciting reactions of elephant toothpaste, and exploring the quirky properties of ooblek. These experiments are designed to ignite a lifelong passion for science and sharpen critical thinking.

Creative LEGO Building Challenges:
Unlock the potential of your imagination with LEGO! Our campers engage in inventive challenges and building projects, melding scientific principles with the joy of LEGO construction. From crafting weight-bearing bridges to designing twisty roller coasters, they’ll hone their problem-solving skills and discover the thrill of engineering.

Artistic Crafts and Self-Expression:
Campers express their creativity through various crafts and artistic projects. They’ll create distinctive designs, add personal touches to their LEGO masterpieces, and participate in activities that enhance fine motor skills and personal expression. Every craft, from personalized slime containers to volcano models, is an opportunity for artistic exploration.

Outdoor Adventures and Nature Exploration:
Beyond indoor fun, we embrace the great outdoors! Our campers enjoy guided nature walks, crafts inspired by the natural world, and outdoor games. These activities not only connect them with nature but also promote teamwork and physical activity.

Lunch and Refreshments:
We recommend campers bring their own bagged lunch and snacks. Stay hydrated and energized for a day full of learning and fun!

Coding Challenges and Digital Literacy:
In the digital age, coding is a crucial skill. Campers will embark on digital adventures, from programming LEGO® robots to creating animated stories and games. These activities foster computational thinking, enhance problem-solving skills, and boost digital literacy in an entertaining and interactive way.

*Please note: Rescheduling camp weeks involves a 30% fee. No refunds for changes made within two weeks of the camp start date. All materials are prepared specifically for each camp and camper.
