December is the beginning of the winter season and the winter solstice! Even though many plants and animals go to sleep, our garden is still alive with plants that continue to grow even when it’s cold. We’ll go on a scavenger hunt to find various shapes in and around the Demonstration Garden, read Winter: A Solstice Story by Kelsey E. Gross, then make ornaments with the shapes we harvested. We will meet at the Harvest Hub. For ages 2-5 with an accompanying adult.
