Learn to Ride a Bike for Kids & Families

November 15 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

A bike skill program for gaining the skills to ride a bike without the use of training wheels.

In a safe and fun environment, participants learn the first lesson for riding a bicycle: How To Balance. Participants are provided with a Balance Bike (a bicycle without pedals or training wheels), helmet, and an instructor to learn the basic skills that build confidence and knowledge for riding a bicycle. Participants are welcome to bring their own helmet and bike which will be converted into a balance bike for the program.

Oak and Spokes will have a bike mechanic on site to prepare personally-owned bicycles into Balance Bikes by removing training wheels and bike pedals. These items are restored on the bicycle.

This program is for kids aged 5+ and families. While free to attend, space is limited. Registration is required.

This outdoor program takes place behind Slide Valley on Biggs Drive inside Gipson Play Plaza. To locatevisit the Gipson Play Plaza Map.
