Do you have an outdoor enthusiast who loves arts and crafts? Join us for a day of nature exploration through an artist’s lens. As we explore Prairie Ridge, we’ll create using different natural mediums to create art inspired by the wonders of the natural world!

This is a one-day drop off program at Prairie Ridge Ecostation intended for children entering Kindergarten in either fall, 2024 or fall, 2025, and runs from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, July 19. Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!

Rooftop Storytime with Darren Farrell – The Willard (Raleigh)

Join us for storytime on The Willard Rooftop on Friday, July 26, at 10am with local children’s book author Darren Farrell. Bring the kids up to the seventh floor for family-friendly fun and stories on our open air terrace with unmatched views of downtown Raleigh. And purchase your own copies of two of Farrell’s delightful children’s books, Dandelion Magic and Give This Book Away, to enjoy at home.

This event is free, but because we are limited in the number of guests we can host during this storytime, pre-registration is required to secure your spot.
