Looking for family friendly events in Raleigh this weekend? While you could pore through countless Facebook event listings and online calendars, wouldn’t it be so much easier if you had all the best events for kids in one place?
I thought so, too! So I’ve set out to do exactly that.
I’m a local mom, and each week, I handpick the coolest events around the Triangle that sound terrific for kids and families. While these local events center largely around Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill (the OG Triangle cities), I do my best to include events from all over the Triangle. That way, you don’t miss any events worth traveling for.

Spend a Sunday afternoon on the farm with friends and animals. We will spend some time playing on the farm and interacting with the animals. Our knowledgeable staff will lead you on a tour of the farm to feed and pet the chickens, cows, mini-cows, goats, donkeys and pigs. You will get to learn about each animal, their story and interesting facts plus feeding and petting them. All the treats are provided. Do you love pony’s? You’ll get to groom Gus the Shetland pony. Spend time with a young goat. Maybe you’d prefer a bunny snuggle? Between the animals and the toys, there is something for everyone! In addition to our fun Farm Tour, Milkshake the Steer will be posing at our Valentine’s Booth and ready for your kisses! This event was a Family Favorite last February.
