Bumble Brews Play Cafe Review – Indoor Play Area Raleigh NC
Having been to the Bumble Brews in Cary many times, Mal and I decided it was time to pay a visit to its sister location in Raleigh. We were not disappointed!
🐝 Check out our Instagram reel highlighting our visit to Bumble Brews!
The Bumble Brews Play Cafe in Raleigh is very similar in style and vibe to the Cary location. The space is a big room filled with toys for imaginative play, physical play, constructive play, and more. Designed for kids around ages 6 and under, Bumble Brews is among the most toddler-friendly and toddler-focused of all the indoor playgrounds in the Triangle.
Combine that element with the fact that you can purchase coffee, wine, and beer, and you’ve got the makings of an ideal spot for little kids and their parents.
I find Bumble Brews to be very reasonably priced, and you can also opt to buy a membership if you plan to go often. This turns out to be a very good deal.
As for what to expect, both Bumble Brews locations are clean and well kept. Outside of the play area are seats for parents, or for kiddos wanting to enjoy a snack break. All kids and parents must wear socks during their visit; shoes are not permitted. There are cubbies along the front of the play area to place your shoes and bags while you play.
I really like the cozy reading nook at this Bumble Brews location, as well as the clever, creative murals on the support beam in the center of the room. They’ve really done a great job making this space feel cozy.
There is also a small carpeted section which is suitable for babies who may not be walking yet. Bumble Brews (in Cary) was actually the first play place I ever took Malcolm, and he “played” there before he could even sit up.
Bumble Brews Raleigh has lots of climbing toys in the Montessori style, which not only looks pretty, but offers a lot of fun and challenging play for toddlers and young kids.
Looking for a place to host a birthday party? This is a great option for birthdays for littles, as they have a large party room and a few different packages to choose from. Their party room also sometimes serves as an event space; we attended a fun music class by Music With Miss Kasie. Follow Bumble Brews on social media and check their website to make sure you don’t miss out on events like this!
