Piney Town Playhouse – Fuquay Varina Indoor Playground Review
Designed like a tiny town for kids, Piney Town is like stepping into a child-size Main Street, complete with a house play area, doctors office, market, police station, construction zone, a farm, and a gas station.
Kids can engage in all kinds of imaginative play in these spots, plus play in their adorable tree house or ride little cars down the “road.”
Piney Town is designed for kids ages 0-7, although well-behaved older children are also welcome. At 2 years old, Malcolm is currently a good age for the main space, and he especially enjoys playing with the stuffed chickens in the garden section.
He is still little enough to go into the separate littlest kids section, too. This is an ideal section for babies and young toddlers as it is an enclosed portion separate from the main room, with a padded surface and baby-friendly toys.
I always enjoy bringing Malcolm here, and one of the main things I really appreciate is that the entirety of the play area is enclosed by a sturdy plastic fence. This gives me lots of peace of mind, as I know Malcolm won’t go running out the door (or into their kitchen!)
Speaking of the kitchen, you can order some tasty coffees here at Piney Town. They don’t have a huge variety of beverages but they definitely get the job done! I had a really nice cold brew last time.
They also sell a few snacks. Please note, there are no outside snacks or beverages allowed, in order to protect children with food allergies. Exceptions include formula, water, breast milk, etc.
Here are some photos showing a closer look at some of the play areas. The attention to detail the owners have demonstrated is awesome; for example there is a box of donuts sitting inside the police station!
You can see Piney Town’s Open Play hours at the beginning of this post, but they also offer birthday parties as well as many special events on the weekends. Their events are super popular and often sell out quickly, so be sure to follow them on Instagram so you never miss anything!
